Launch of The Black Love Project

On Wednesday 25 October 2015, Words of Colour launched The Black Love Project. The first initiative of its kind in the UK, the national project is based on an online survey, covering love, sex, dating, relationships and parenting, completed by over 550 Black Britons, focus groups and filmed interviews conducted in different parts of the country. A specially invited guest panel (award-winning author Leone Ross, poets Lionheart and Victoria Adukwei Bulley, BBC adviser, writer and academic Dr Rob Berkeley and life coach and Baggage Reclaim founder Natalie Lue) took part in a lively interactive discussion with the audience in response to the findings, hosted by co-founders Joy Francis and Patsy Isles.
