The Writing Platform

On 8 November 2012 at Rich Mix in London, Words of Colour Productions collaborated with The Literary Platform on its digital publishing event The Writing Platform. Over 100 writers listened to experts on trends in digital publishing. Words of Colour ran two panel debates: Digital Publishing and the Writer’s Identity with author Kerry Young, literary agent Susan Yearwood and writer and editor Jacob Sam La-Rose, and Race and Class in Publishing with short story writer Ola Awonubi, author Courttia Newland and editor and writer Nii Parkes. Words of Colour also held an advice surgery on e-publishing with Rosemarie Hudson, founder of HopeRoad Publishing.
