Speaking Volumes Live Literature Productions, Words of Colour Productions and the George Padmore Institute are centring the achievements, stories and contributions of seven pioneering Black women artists and creatives in public talks at from 7pm to 8.30pm 198 Contemporary Arts and Learning Ltd until May 2025.
As part of Women Speak Volumes Between Generations, a skills programme for 11 budding young Black women archivists, there is a public series of in conversation events with seven pioneering Black women creatives and and artists.
Words of Colour’s Executive Director Joy Francis has already interviewed TV, film and theatre director and producer Paulette Randall MBE, and composer, classical guitarist and music director Dominique Le Gendre.
