Conversations with Baldwin: The Salon – a series of digital panel discussions exploring the literature and life of 20th-century author and activist James Baldwin. This discussion looks at love in the literature of James Baldwin, and examines why he kept returning to it as a means of liberation. This event was part of Conversations with Baldwin, a hybrid festival celebrating the life and work of 20th-century author and activist James Baldwin which took place September – October 2023 across London and Bristol. Conversations with Baldwin was produced by Words of Colour and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
