Children’s Fiction and Cultural Inclusion was the topic for an engaging debate with Patrice Lawrence, Alex Wheatle and Davinia Andrew-Lynch hosted by Words of Colour Productions on Friday 5 May 2017 at Waterstones Piccadilly. Alex Wheatle is the winner of the Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize 2016 for Crongton Knights, Patrice Lawrence (Indigo Donut), Winner, Waterstones Prize for Older Children’s Fiction 2017 and The Bookseller YA Book Prize 2017 for Orangeboy, and Davinia Andrew-Lynch, founder of Andlyn literary agency and co-founder of the FAB Prize 2017.
