In Conversation with Barry Jenkins

Oscar winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins, director of the worldwide hit Moonlight, speaks to Joy Francis, executive director of Words of Colour Productions, about his latest film If Beale Street Could Talk, based on James Baldwin’s novel. He explains his technique for filming black actors so beautifully, a growing interest in theatre and, if he had the chance, what he would ask James Baldwin about his bold adaptation.
